After the skirmish featured in my last post the Empire army presses on towards the Tilean city of Pavona. The Tileans attempt to block their advance and take up position on the road.
Many of the combatants have had a new lick of paint this last week. Some have just had a bit tidy up but some have had radical changes to their colour schemes. The Empire soldiers in particular have lost the dull two tone brown uniforms and are now dressed in a more striking red and white ensemble. The dwarfs too have new blue jackets and a new runic banner in the blue and yellow currently in vogue.
Anyway the battlelines are drawn so here are a few photos...
The Empire commander Manfred von Heck urging his men forward.
Deadly Dwarfs and handy Handgunners.
Facing the unwelcome invaders are the Tilean troops...
The Tilean commander Guido del Monte amidst his host.
Ragged Ricco and his Regiment of Renown.
Long Drong Slayer and his smelly Dwarf pirates.
Tilean swords and pikes, a mortar and the wizard Malvolio.
Battle will commence in the next post, keep your eyes peeled!.
A colourful array to be sure! One will hardly notice the blood... :-D
ReplyDeleteCheers Ion.
DeleteNice selection. I particularly like the Dogs of War minis... They fetch a good sum nowadays.
ReplyDeleteThanks, I bought them on offer many years ago, they have seen quite a bit of action over the years.
