In this game Baron Conn Dubhmore is heading back to Dunfannion with some stolen sheep while his enemy the hardy Baron Oliver de Norville is trying to stop him.
Dubhmore is deployed at the blue arrows and is heading for the opposite corner (B).
De Norville is in positions A,B and C in order to recover the sheep.
Some of the sheep (they may be goats) stealers.
Oliver de Norville and some of his chums, they enter the table at point A. De Norville has boasted thet he will slay Dubhmore.
But the duel is drawn and both men return to their companions and a bigger fight ensues.
Dubhmore falls back, battered.
The fighting spreads.
And Norvilles' spearmen are routed.
The Dunfannion Pikemen are battling de Norvilles foot knights.
The Dunfannion Halberdiers are routed by a volley of arbalest bolts and more sheep are saved.
